Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is full of new quests for players to complete from crafting weapons to taming boar, and more. One of the latest quests tasks players with obtaining literature samples from Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row.
Given that all of those locations tend to attract a number of enemy players, knowing exactly where to go can help save you time. Below, we’ll walk you through where you can obtain literature samples in Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, and Retail Row in Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 | Obtain Literature Samples From Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row
If you’re looking to complete the quest of obtaining four literature samples from Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, you’re not alone. As mentioned above, these locations tend to draw in a number of enemy players.
What’s nice is that if one location is too packed with enemy players and too much of a hassle, the quest gives you the option to obtain literature samples at any of those three locations so you can simply move from one location to the other.
In the map image above, we’ve circled all of the locations where literature samples can be obtained in Fortnite. It seems like each location contains two literature samples (at least, this is the number we were able to find during our time in the game).
The easiest way to obtain all four literature samples seems to be going from Retail Row to Lazy Lake as the two locations are in closer proximity to one another than they are the third option, Pleasant Park.

Where to Find Literature Samples in Pleasant Park
The first literature sample in Pleasant Park can be found on the ground floor of the white wooden house located on the western side of the Pleasant Park area.
When you walk in the front door of the house, take a left and you should see the bookshelf with the literature sample along the wall.
The second literature sample can be found in the house on the northwest side of Pleasant Park on the ground floor in the room where the NPC named Jonesy The First can be found.

Where to Find Literature Samples in Lazy Lake
The first literature sample in Lazy Lake is located in the underground parking garage area of the Lazy Lake Spa.
You can access it either by going down the parking garage ramp, or by taking the stairs inside the building all the way down.
The second literature sample in Lazy Lake is located on the bottom floor of the gas station which can be found by heading west from the Lazy Lake Spa.
Where to Find Literature Samples in Retail Row
The first literature sample in Retail Row can be found at McGuffin’s Bookstore at the southeast corner of Retail Row.
The second literature sample in Retail Row can be found outside of a shop at the northeast corner of Retail Row. Instead of a book, it’s part of a newspaper rack outside of the shop to the right of a wooden bench.
Once you’ve obtained four literature samples in total, the quest will be marked as complete and you’ll earn 24,000 XP as a reward in Fortnite.
