As you work to survive in Grounded, you’ll need to gather resources and make yourself tools including a Pebblet Axe.
At first, it can feel a little daunting to craft a Pebblet Axe in Grounded as it requires a number of specific materials.
To help simplify everything, we’ve put together a quick guide explaining how to craft an Axe in Grounded.
How to Craft a Pebblet Axe in Grounded
To craft a Pebblet Axe in Grounded you’re going to need a number of specific resources, all of which can be gathered fairly easily.
You’re going to need (1) Woven Fiber, (2) Pebblet, and (3) Sprig. With all these materials on hand, you’ll be able to craft the Pebblet Axe.
Sprigs and Pebblets can both be picked up off the ground. Sprigs look like little plants, though they’re larger than Plant Fiber making it easy to differentiate the two.
Pebblets look like small stones, they’re hard to miss and hard to mistake for something else.
Note that you’ll first need to take your Sprigs and Pebblets over to a Resource Analyzer for an analysis in order to expand the ways in which you can use these materials.
For Woven Fiber, you’ll need to collect Plant Fiber by harvesting tiny plants on the ground.
With your Plant Fiber, head over to a Field Station and use the Resource Analyzer in order to unlock the recipe for Woven Fiber.
If you’ve already done this for Sprigs and Pebblets, this process should be fairly simple. Each Woven Fiber costs (3) Plant Fiber to craft.
Once you’ve collected the necessary materials and have analyzed them, you’re ready to craft your Pebblet Axe.
To do this, all you need to do is visit the Craft menu and craft your Pebblet Axe in the Tools section.
If you want to craft a better Axe in the future like the Level 2 Insect Axe, you’ll need to take the necessary materials for that item over to a Workbench.
The Level 2 Insect Axe requires (1) Ladybug Head, (3) Bombardier Part, (4) Spider Silk. Keep in mind that you can’t craft an Insect Axe in the Crafting menu the same way you would the Pebblet Axe.
To craft an Insect Axe, you’ll need a Workbench. You won’t find a Workbench out in the wild, you’ll need to craft a Workbench yourself in the Crafting menu using (2) Sap, (3) Grass Plank, and (4) Sprig.
At the start of the game, the Pebblet Axe can be a huge help in harvesting different resources. It can even help you defend yourself in a pinch.
To recap, you can craft a Pebblet Axe using (1) Woven Fiber, (2) Pebblet, and (3) Sprig. You’ll need to analyze Pebblets and Sprig, and you’ll also need to find and analyze Plant Fiber in order to acquire Woven Fiber.
