Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the latest entry in the high-profile first-person shooter franchise and has brought plenty of new things for fans to enjoy. However, a feature from the title’s predecessor Black Ops 4, has been a highly requested item amongst the community. This highly requested feature is a battle royale game mode. Plenty of rumors have circulated regarding a possible battle royale game mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with players hoping for a release date shortly.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale Release Date

Now, Infinity Ward, the developers of this year’s entry in the franchise, has not officially announced that a battle royale game mode is coming to its title. This lack of confirmation that a release date for this possible game mode is nowhere to be seen, of course. 

However, a variety of datamining leaks have made their way into the community, stating that this kind of game mode is indeed in development for the game and that a release date for it will be taking place in the future.

These leaks were highlighted by a video where one member of the community glitched out of a map and looked to have possibly found the map for the battle royale game mode that is rumored to be in development. 

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Battle Royale Release Date

We will update this piece with any information regarding a release date for a battle royale mode if any is made available. With Season 1 set to end on February 11th, there is always the possibility that Infinity Ward could reveal that the release date for the rumored mode is coming in Season 2. 

This high-profile game mode will be released on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020.
