If you’ve been taking advantage of the recent updates to Warframe to revisit the game again, then you’re definitely not alone. Wanting to build yourself a warship? You’re going to need a hell of a lot of materials, including a very specific ore. If you want to net yourself the Railjack, then you’re going to need to embark on a Warframe Pustrels farm, and we can help with that.
Warframe Pustrels Farm – Where to Find This Ore
If you’re after the Railjack battleship, then you’re going to need a hell of a lot of Pustrels to finish it off. While some earlier steps and parts of that battleship will gate you via credits needed and other materials like Carbides and Alloy Plate, it’s the Starboard Nacelle that will require you to get your hands on 100 Pustrels. As part of the Rising Tide update, these Pustrels can now be found by intrepid Tennos so long as they’re kicking around one particular place – the Plains of Eidolon.
Now that you know where to find them, what about farming them? Well, it’s mining. Sorry, lads. No shortcuts here. You will have to specifically find red veins on the Plains of Eidolon and take to them with your chosen implement. You’re going to need one of the following in order to make your mining dreams a reality:
- Nosam Cutter (obtained from Cetus)
- Sunploint Plasma Drill (obtained from Fortuna)
Both mining implements will require you to have acquired sufficient Standing with either Ostron or Solaris United, so depending on how you’re going with either Syndicate, you might be better off just grinding one out to get a tool for mining those veins faster. Once you have the Cutter or the Plasma Drill, the next party is pretty easy.
You just have to kick around the Plains of Eidolon and use your minimap to find these ore locations once you have the relevant mining tools equipped. You’ll want to be on the lookout for red veins. Take to these with your tool – not every vein will have Pustrel, so this is going to be a matter of sheer perseverance if you want to get all 100. There’s no other way to go about a Warframe Pustrels farm, so just keep whacking away at these mining veins until you’re absolutely sick of it, and then some.
