While we don’t have an official Horizon Zero Dawn PC port with adapted controls, there is at least a way to play it soon thanks to PS Now.
The PlayStation 4 exclusive is slated to hit the PS Now service next month and as long as you’ve got an active subscription service, it will be available to play on the PC platform. Additionally, Sony confirmed that Uncharted: Lost Legacy will be available during that time as well alongside Overcooked 2.
Think PS Now isn’t good enough and want an actual port with revised mechanics? There was a leak earlier this year that stated that a Horizon Zero Dawn PC port could be on the way, though the team over at Guerilla has yet to make any mention as to whether or not there was any merit to these rumors.
As we previously mentioned, the leak came from Anton Logvinov, a content creator that hails from Russia and he claims that Horizon Zero Dawn is making that PC leap in February of next year. His “Inside Sources” confirmed to the creator that the retail date was set, though an official announcement has yet to be made at this time.
Even more interesting is that Logvinov claims that he’s been speaking with numerous developers about the next generation, saying that Sony is being more open-minded when considering the PC platform with their console exclusives. Xbox has been doing this for a while now, though much more frequently over this past year, so it looks to be the natural progression between the two platforms. That console x PC gap is closing, which means everyone wins.
