The Game Awards 2019 show is just around the corner and just like every year in the past, the leaks are out and as loud as ever regarding which big reveals we will possibly see at this year’s showcase. From a new Batman game, to a major comeback for the Tony Hawk franchise, here’s the latest leak roundup for The Game Awards 2019.
Game Awards 2019 Announcements Leaked
Before we dive right in, a quick disclaimer. As we say in all of our coverage like this: unless something is confirmed by the developers themselves, take all leaks and rumors with a grain of salt. Since the latest leak comes from 4Chan, that sentiment should be broadcasted loud and proud. As to why we’re covering it if we have that much doubt, some of our own internal sources have seemingly confirmed a chunk of this list, so the conversation is worth having.
According to the most recent leak, we have yet another ‘source’ citing a Batman game announcement with Batman Arkham Legacy. Other leaks include:
- Crash Bash remake
- More Resident Evil 3 remake footage
- Banjo-Kazooie remake
- PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2
- Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 remakes
- Metroid Prime Trilogy
- Sly 5
- Grand Theft Auto 6 (though our sources have debunked this)
- Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 footage
- Phoenix Wright as part of the next challenger pack for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
We have already had a few confirmed reveals already by Geoff Keighley, including a new look at what’s next for the Ori franchise. As mentioned already, take all leaks with a grain of salt.
