Horizon Zero Dawn PC Leak Revealed

Could we finally be getting Horizon Zero Dawn on PC?!
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn took the gaming world by storm with its incredible narrative and stunning open-world. With a breath-taking story and a protagonist that many instantly fell in love with, it’s not surprising that fans would be anxious to know if it would ever make the leap from PlayStation onto other platforms. If this Horizon Zero Dawn PC leak turns out to be true, it looks like the player base it about to get a whole lot bigger.

When Death Stranding, the big PS4 exclusive that recently released, suddenly became available for PC players to pre-order, the gaming world was shook wondering what other big surprises were in store. Xbox One’s Sunset Overdrive made the leap, why not some PlayStation goodness?

The Horizon Zero Dawn PC leak comes from Anton Logvinov, a content creator that hails from Russia and he claims that Horizon Zero Dawn is making that PC leap in February of next year. His “Inside Sources” confirmed to the creator that the retail date was set, though an official announcement has yet to be made at this time.

Even more interesting is that Logvinov claims that he’s been speaking with numerous developers about the next generation, saying that Sony is being more open-minded when considering the PC platform with their console exclusives. Xbox has been doing this for a while now, though much more frequently over this past year, so it looks to be the natural progression between the two platforms. That console x PC gap is closing, which means everyone wins.

Hopefully, we’ll be getting a possible confirmation during the Game Awards later this month! It will be interesting to see how exclusives evolve with so many changes made to the marketing system. For more about Aloy and her adventures in a world that blends fantasy and machine:

“Take on the role of skilled hunter Aloy as you explore a vibrant and lush world inhabited by mysterious mechanized creatures. Embark on a compelling, emotional journey and unravel mysteries of tribal societies, ancient artifacts and advanced technologies that will determine the fate of this planet, and of life itself.”
