Two of Rockstar Games’ most beloved franchises are Bully and Red Dead Redemption. The exciting wild west series of Red Dead Redemption 2 recently received a sequel that quickly became the favorite game of many players. Unfortunately, the 2006 title of Bully has not yet had a sequel created despite plenty of requests from players. However, a recent reference to Bully in the latest update for Red Dead Redemption 2 has many believing Rockstar Games is hinting at the development of Bully 2.
According to a report by Dexerto, CipsTr recently took to Reddit and posted an image discovered by the bully2source Instagram page. This image shows off a wanted poster for the individual of Meredith Hopkins. The connection to the Bully franchise comes from the last name of Meredith Hopkins, as Hopkins is also the last name of Bully protagonist Jimmy Hopkins.
The poster states Meredith Hopkins is wanted for fatally shooting her neighbor’s farmhand who was a boy that was caught trespassing on her property. As fans of the Bully franchise know, Jimmy Hopkins is known for getting into plenty of trouble, and the community believes this farmhand is another reference to the Bully protagonist.
It remains to be seen if Rockstar Games will eventually develop Bully 2. However, subtle hints like this newly added wanted poster keep giving players hope that a sequel to the popular game will arrive sometime in the future.
