How to Find and Download the Resident Evil 2 Demo on PS4

The Resident Evil 2 remake demo released on the PlayStation Store earlier today, yet many players who searched for the game in the store came up empty handed, causing a bit of frustration. Luckily, it isn’t that hard to find the Resident Evil 2 demo if you just follow these simple steps.

Here’s what you need to do to find and download the Resident Evil 2 remake demo on PS4:

  1. Launch the PlayStation Store on your PS4.
  2. Scroll to and select the Games category on the left.
  3. In the Games section, select the Demos category on the left.
  4. Find the Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo on the squares on the right.

The Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo is what you’re looking for in the Demos category of the PlayStation Store. Once you’ve found the demo, click on it and select the download option on the left to begin downloading and installing the demo on your PS4.

The reason it’s called a “1-Shot Demo” (cue Eminem) is because you only get one 30-minute opportunity to complete the demo before it essentially locks you out. You can play the game as many times as you like within the 30-minute window, but once that time period expires, so will the demo.

You can play through the demo casually, or try to speed-run through so that you get multiple chances to try different strategies. The choice is yours, but just keep in mind that your time is limited. The Resident Evil 2 remake is scheduled to launch on January 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
