Ahead of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game’s full release on Tuesday, developer CD Projekt Red has unleashed a brand new gameplay trailer that outlines what players can expect from Homecoming, the massive launch update headed to the game on October 23. The new trailer introduces new players to the basics of how to play Gwent: The Witcher Card Game following tomorrow’s Homecoming update, which will introduce a slew of new gameplay content and changes to Gwent following the game’s launch out of beta. 

The updated version of Gwent will feature “round-based gameplay, two tactically distinct rows, unique melee and ranged card-battling mechanics, as well as robust deck building system,” according to CD Projekt Red. Players who haven’t been keeping up with the latest changes to Gwent throughout the beta phase should consider checking out the new gameplay trailer to prepare for what’s in store. 

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is free-to-play and will release out of beta for PC on October 23. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will launch on December 4. Gwent is launching out of beta alongside the standalone release of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, the newest RPG adventure from CD Projekt Red set in the universe of The Witcher series, which will be available on GOG.com for $29.99.
