Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is chock full of various enemies and challenges for players to find and take on. Included in these challenges are various mini-bosses and optional bosses like the Minotaur in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, a level 40 boss that players can find on the island of Messara. This article will tell you everything you need to know to find the Minotaur in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, so you can take him down and prove your worth.
How to Find the Minotaur
The Minotaur is a mini-boss that players can find and take on to challenge themselves in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Players can locate this boss later on in the game, once they’ve reached level 35 or so. To find the boss you will need to make your way to the island of Messara, which is located in the far southeastern portion of the world map. Head to the island to kick off a line of quests that will lead you directly to the Minotaur’s location.
Basically, for the span of a few side quests you will need to find several men who have gone missing since they ran into the Minotaur. To kick off the quest, head to Messara and look for a chest during one of the side quests here. When interacting with the chest a kid will rush up and start telling you about the missing men.
This should kick off a series of fairly easy quests that you can knock out pretty quickly. After you have completed all of the quests, return to the boy and he should give you a key to the Labyrinth. The Labyrinth is a maze that you’ll need to explore and make your way through. Thankfully it isn’t nearly as difficult as some in the game would have you believe. Instead of worrying too much about it, simply follow the yellow rope that has been placed along the wall. This will lead you to the young boy’s father, where you can collect his ring for another quest related to the boy.
With the ring in tow, continue deeper into the Labyrinth until you reach the center. Here you should meet the Minotaur. He’s level 40, so you’ll want to be at least level 35 before you try to take him on. After you complete the fight, exit the Labyrinth and return the ring of the boy to tie things off.
