When playing through the tutorial in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, players will find themselves completing a quest that ends with the fake eye of a cyclops shoved somewhere we won’t mention within this article. What many don’t know, though, is that retrieving this eye later down the road will reward you with the ‘Stink Eye’ hidden achievement for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. To help you out, here’s everything you need to know to track down the eye and acquire the Stink Eye hidden trophy.
How to Get the Stink Eye Hidden Trophy
During the opening tutorial missions for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players will witness something quite… disgusting, as the eye of a cyclops is shoved up a goat’s butt. From here the mission ends and players are able to move on through the campaign, completing other missions along the way. What many don’t know, though, is that you can actually earn yourself a hidden achievement (or trophy depending on your platform) by finding the cyclop’s eye later on.
To find the eye you’re going to need to head back to the island where it all began—the same island where you took part in the tutorial missions. Once here, it’s time to start hunting. Unfortunately, there’s no real time table on how long it will take you to find the eye, as finding it requires you to simply run around the island killing as many goats as you can. Eventually you’ll manage to kill a goat that will drop something for you.
As you commit mass genocide on the island’s goat population, keep an eye out for an item called the Obsidian Eye Fragment. As we said above, it’s an item that’s placed quite randomly inside one of the goats on the island, so you’re just going to need to murder them all until you come across it. Once you find the Obsidian Eye Fragment, you’ll be rewarded with the Stink Eye achievement, granting you one more notch in your achievement hunter belt.
Now that you know how to obtain this hidden achievement, let’s head back over to our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey guide for more helpful content like our guide on how to fast travel as well as our in-depth walkthroughs on how to complete some of the toughest portions of the game.
