Gravity Circuit Free on Steam for a Limited Time

Domesticated Ant Games, the team behind the gorgeous 2D action platformer, has announced a sequel to Gravity Circuit slated for 2027. To celebrate the announcement, the studio has dropped the price of the original game to zero. Yes, if you head over to its store page, you can claim the game and add it to your Steam library permanently at no cost.

This promotion for Gravity Circuit is available from June 1, 2026, to June 14, 2026. That’s plenty of time to click a single button on Steam and keep the game forever. Usually, promotions like this are only active for a day or two, but the developers have slashed the price for a full two weeks.

Gravity Circuit has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” user review score on Steam, with a 95% positive rating, making it one of the most highly rated titles on the entire platform. It features 12 unique stages, a wide variety of bosses, and several standout mechanics that push it beyond typical “Mega Man clone” comparisons.

Gravity Circuit 2 Announced

Dear Villagers officially announced Gravity Circuit 2 with an action-packed trailer featuring a bunch of gameplay along with the introduction of a new playable character, Cable. Check out the trailer below.

Kai, from the first game, is also returning with his Grapple Shot, but Cable is a ranged character with a unique moveset. He can pepper enemies from a distance, chain multiple jumps to stay airborne, and use his powers to turn defeated foes into scrap, which can then be used as ammunition.

The sequel also introduces a new hub HQ area, featuring various NPCs, vendors, training rooms, and even a jukebox. It builds on the original in a major way, but it’s still a long way from release.

Gravity Circuit 2 is headed to PC (both Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2027. You can now add it to your wishlist on Steam. There is no mention of an Xbox Series S|X release, which is consistent with the first title, which also never came out on Xbox consoles.

If the trailer looks like something you’d enjoy, I highly recommend picking up Gravity Circuit (reminder: it’s FREE). It’s a fantastic platformer that goes the extra mile with its tight controls, satisfying combat, and excellent platforming mechanics. Oh, and did I mention it’s an incredible Steam Deck experience?
