Pragmata is out now on PC and consoles, and it’s yet another excellent CAPCOM title developed on RE Engine. The PC port is solid, performant, and comes with plenty of settings to tweak. If you’re looking for your local progress data, though, here is the save file location for Pragmata.

Similar to other modern CAPCOM titles, the save files for Pragmata are actually inside the Steam installation folder. When you open userdata, you’ll see a folder with your unique Steam ID, and inside it, there will be a lot of folders with different numbers. The one you’re looking for is 3357650, which is the App ID of Pragmata on Steam.

If you want to back this up, I recommend backing up the entire 3357650 folder for future use.

Does Pragmata Have Multiple Save Slots?

Yes, like Resident Evil titles, Pragmata has multiple save slots in the form of manual save files. This means you can have several active campaigns and switch between them by selecting “Load Game” from the main menu. The active campaign will also always use the most recent autosave.

Pragmata Steam Features

On PC, Pragmata has the following Steam features:

  • Steam Cloud: Your progress is automatically uploaded to the Steam Cloud after you close the title, and it is downloaded again if you access the game on a different device.
  • Steam Family Sharing: If you own a copy of Pragmata, members of your Steam family can access it in their libraries.
  • Steam Input: While the game has native support for multiple controllers, you can always use Steam Input to get third-party controllers to work without much trouble.
  • Achievements: There are 35 unique achievements in Pragmata.

In most cases, Steam Cloud does a fantastic job of securing save data, which you can use across devices and for any future runs, but backing up save files doesn’t really have any downsides either.

Pragmata is one of my favorite releases of the year, and CAPCOM’s winning streak in 2026 continues with several major releases that continue to deliver high-quality experiences across a variety of genres. The PC version is easily the best of the bunch, and RE Engine continues to impress with excellent visuals paired with solid performance as well.

When he isn't spending an unhealthy amount of time in Slay the Spire, he's probably trying out yet another retro-shooter or playing Dark Souls for the 50th time.
