Players have been providing a lot of feedback over the last few months to get new features in ARC Raiders. In patch 1.13, Embark Studios listened to one of them and actually released one of the best Augments in the game so far.

These new Augments are a must-have for all players, and here’s everything you need to know about what they do.

The Looting MK.3 (Safekeeper) Finally Adds Some Needed Protection to High-Value Weapons

The Looting MK.3 (Safekeeper) has the following details:

A safe pocket that allows any item to be stored.

  • 18-slot backpack
  • 4 quick-use slots
  • 2 trinket slots
  • 1 unique safe pocket (holds any item)

One of the two new Augments is called the Looting MK.3 (Safekeeper). It allows you to store any kind of item in your Safe Pocket, meaning you can literally put an Aphelion, Equalizer, Jupiter, or any great weapons in it.

This works very well for players bringing in those legendary weapons to fight the Queen or the Matriarch. They can hide the weapon first and bring it out when it is safe to shoot. It adds a little more micromanagement to keep these items safe since you always have to open your inventory and keep swapping your weapons into your safe pocket.

However, it is definitely worth it, especially for those who have trouble getting those reactors and are too scared to bring a legendary weapon because they might lose it for nothing.

This is a major change to the game’s overall playstyle, as players will now rely more on powerful weapons, such as a level 4 Vulcano, Bettina, or Tempest.

It is a great change, as most players tend to just hoard their powerful items because the overall “meta” of the game has leaned towards free loadouts and trying to beat stacked squads for easy loot. There is absolutely no risk for free-loadout players, but the problem was that there was little to no reward for players bringing in their really good gear.

The Tactical MK.3 (Revival) is Perfect for Those Passive Lobbies and Loot Runs

The Tactical MK.3 (Revival) has the following details:

Restores 1 health every 5 seconds. When damage is taken, the effect is paused for 30 seconds.

  • 16-slot backpack
  • 5 quick-use slots
  • 2 safe pockets

The Tactical MK.3 (Revival) isn’t a big factor, but it is a nice quality-of-life Augment for players who have passive lobbies and are just looking to fight some ARCs or get some loot. If you didn’t know already, ARC Raiders has a system/algorithm that matches you with other players who are also friendly amongst raiders if you typically don’t fight other players in lobbies.

In this case, the Tactical MK.3 (Revival) works wonders, as you technically don’t have to heal anymore if you just remain patient.

If you are looking to find the blueprints for these Augments, they are easy to find in Lockers since those are loot-dense containers.
