Ranching is one of the new systems in Woolhaven, which allows you to raise farm animals for valuable resources like wool, milk, and meat. Each new animal you add to the Ranch will start very young and grow daily.

To complete associated quests, you’ll need to raise their levels. To make sure you’re leveling up the Ranch animals as fast as possible in Woolhaven, here are a few tips.

Level Up Ranch Animals Fast in Woolhaven

You have multiple ways to interact with each animal you add to the Ranch. These activities are limited to a day, but you can optimize your time spent with each animal to increase their level fast. So, every day, approach each animal and do the following things:

  • Feed them: Animals require sustenance every day, and eventually, their favorite food will be marked as well. Make sure to feed them every day to level them up.
  • Pet them: In the interact menu, pet the animal to level them up.
  • Walk them: After you’ve fed and petted the ranch animal, it’s time to walk them. A meter will appear right above the animal and will fill up the more you walk them. This also directly increases their level.

You can do all three actions in a single day, which contributes significantly to leveling up. While doing so, calm any animals that have gone feral, heal those attacked by feral animals, clean the ones marked as dirty, and always gather resources from them, since they don’t produce these in bulk, for example, wool must be sheared.

Baraq’s Quest Board

Levelling up animals is important to complete different quests at Baraq’s Quest Board in Woolhaven.

You’ll have to bring Baraq different levelled-up animals to earn rewards, which are usually new types of animals. Completing these will make the new animals available to purchase with wool at his store.

Ranching is a really fun addition to Cult of the Lamb, and you can personalize the different animals at your Ranch by giving them names as well. Keep in mind that riding animals doesn’t level them up even if it’s a fun activity.
