Fortnite Mobile Clone ‘FortCraft’ Now Accepting Beta Signups

NetEase’s unabashed Fortnite mobile ripoff FortCraft is now open for beta testing.

Hot on the heels of Fortnite’s iOS beta test signups today, mobile developer NetEase kicked off beta registration for their own Fortnite clone for iOS, ingeniously titled ‘FortCraft’. Those who wish to sign up for the FortCraft iOS beta test can do so on the FortCraft Beta TestFlight website.

Update (3/13/18): The Fortnite Beta iOS signups are currently full, according to the Testflight iOS application page. We’ll update you here if the status changes.

While beta signups for FortCraft appear to be mainly geared toward iOS users, Android users can also become beta testers by enlisting on the FortCraft invite and downloading FortCraft on Google Play.

The FortCraft beta test requires at least 600 MB of available space to download. Once you have accepted the FortCraft beta invitation, you must install the FortCraft beta app to begin testing the game.

From its cartoony art style to its in-game fort building mechanic, FortCraft is a clear ripoff of Fortnite Battle Royale. This shouldn’t come as a surprise though, considering NetEase has already made multiple PUBG-like battle royale games for mobile, including Rules of Survival

Although NetEase’s Fortnite clone doesn’t come as a shock, what is impressive is just how quickly the signups for FortCraft emerged following Epic’s announcement of Fortnite for mobile over the weekend.
