One of the biggest surprises in Dragon Ball FighterZ is Android 21. As a brand new character created by Akira Toriyama exclusively for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Android 21 has a lot of people excited. However, unlike most of the character roster, Android 21 is not available as soon as you begin playing the game. Instead you will need to unlock Android 21 in Dragon Ball FighterZ before you can start playing as her outside of Story mode. In this article we’ll cover how to unlock Android 21 in Dragon Ball FighterZ so you can start playing her as quickly as possible.

Unlock Android 21

  • Complete the Android 21 arc in Story mode.

In order to unlock Android 21 you need to complete Story mode. To me more specific, you need to complete the Android 21 arc in Story mode, but since that’s the final arc, you essentially need to complete the entire mode on the default difficulty setting (you unlock a hard mode after completing each arc once).

If you’re watching every cutscene, it will take roughly 10 hours to complete Story mode, so be prepared for a lengthy unlocking process. However, if you want to get Android 21 as quickly as possible, you can skip every cutscene and clear Story mode in about five to seven hours depending on how quickly you can get through each fight.

When you first begin Story mode you will only have access to the Super Warrior arc. Complete that to unlock the Enemy Warrior arc. Once you finish the Enemy Warrior arc you will unlock the Android 21 arc. Complete that and you will unlock Android 21.
