ARC Raiders 1.1.0 Patch Highlights

While this isn’t a major patch, it does bring several key improvements and fixes. For one, players can no longer use deployables to push others through walls, an issue that made PvP encounters particularly frustrating.

The shield repair system now includes a charge progress indicator, and players can no longer deploy Barricades near zipline exit points. One common complaint was that Augment Skills simply didn’t work, and this patch appears to address that issue.

Additionally, the Punch Hands emote, which was a pre-order bonus for ARC Raiders, is now actually available in players’ inventories. Several achievements are still bugged, but the developers have addressed one of them, Well Travelled, with this patch.

Finally, there’s an update to the map condition schedule, with the following becoming available on Saturday:

  • Hidden Bunker
  • Night Raid Blue Gate
  • Electromagnetic Storm

You can read the complete patch notes on Steam with all the fixes listed.

ARC Raiders 1.1.0 Patch Size

On PC, the patch size for 1.1.0 is 1.2 GB and is now available to download on Steam. If you don’t see it in the downloads, restart the client.

ARC Raiders launched in a remarkably good state, which is rare for live service titles, especially those developed on Unreal Engine 5. Personally, I’d like to see the implementation of the DLSS transformer model addressed. Despite its sharper presentation, it currently has several visual issues with how it handles foliage. You can fix this for now by switching to the CNN model, though it comes at the cost of image clarity.

Given the nature of the game, I’m sure we’ll see plenty of new patches which address different on-going issues along with adding more content.
