How to Get Raider Hatch Keys in ARC Raiders

Better safe than sorry!

Raider Hatch Keys play a big role in surviving a raid in ARC Raiders. They are single-use consumables that open useful extraction points to get you out of the surface.

Luckily, Raider Hatch Keys are available early and through multiple means. Here’s how to get those Raider Hatch Keys early in ARC Raiders.

Where to Get Raider Hatch Keys in ARC Raiders

Raider Hatch Keys are available only at player level 12 or with a Utility Station level 2 available in Speranza. Go to the traders and look for Shani. He’ll sell the Raider Hatch Key for 9,000 Credits.

You only have 5,000 Credits to start with, but you’ll notice you have a bunch of items in your inventory at the start as well. I suggest saving your Coins first and trying to save up some money. You don’t want to use Raider Hatch Keys where your loadout or loot has less value than the key itself.

When you get the Raider Hatch Keys, you’d want to put them in your Safe Pocket and only swap them out when you find something more valuable than 9,000 Credits or an important quest item. It is also worth noting that you can find Raider Hatch Keys in a raid. You’ll mostly find them in Residential areas or even under a little rock next to Raider Hatch Extracts.

Apart from buying the Raider Hatch Keys from Shani, you can also craft one from the Utility Station, if you have constructed it already. You only require a level 2 Utility Station, so it’ll be available early in the game as long as you are upgrading your hideout and farming some materials for the upgrade.

One Raider Hatch Key requires 1x Advanced Electrical Components and 3x Sensors. These are mostly found in electronics and tech loot areas, so if you don’t frequent those loot spots, you’ll rarely find them.

To use the Raider Hatch Key, go to your map and find the nearest Raider Hatch. There are several of them active at the same time. Go to one and use the key to use the extraction point there. Just be careful. Players will also try to camp out for these areas for easy loot. You can even encounter players trying to extract the same way as you.

The only benefit is that you aren’t alerting the whole area that you are extracting when compared to your typical extraction point bunker. There are even fewer ARC enemies going around in these Raider Hatches.
