One of 2025’s Best Action Games Is Already 25% Off on Consoles

and it's worth it!

2025 has been an incredible year for video games. From classic revivals to modern masterpieces, there’s something for everyone. With so many great titles to choose from, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, but SEGA has made things easier by dropping the price of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeances Deluxe Edition by 25%.

SHINOBI Art of Vengeance Discounted by 25%

Currently, the Deluxe Edition for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is 25% off on PlayStation (PS4, PS5)(and Nintendo Switch, bringing its price down to the standard edition’s $30.

Outside the main game, it comes with a bunch of goodies, including three additional promised boss fights featuring baddies from different SEGA franchises:

  • Starter Pack: The Ghost Outfit, the Medic Lite Amulet, and 2000 Gold
  • SEGA Villains Stage: Dr. Eggman from Sonic, Death Adder from Golden Axe, and Goro Majima from the Yakuza Series(Early 2026)
  • Digital Art Book + Soundtrack

You can get the discounted deluxe editions at the following links:

PlatformDiscounted PriceDiscount Period
PS4 / PS5$30 (25% off)Oct 20, 2025 – Oct 31, 2025
Nintendo Switch$30 (25% off)Oct 22, 2025 – Nov 5, 2025

The discount period is different, but you have around 10 days to get the title on either platform.

While the planned DLC is still a few months away, if you’re certain you’ll want to fight those characters, I think $30 is a fair price for the content. The bonus skin looks quite nice in action, and the 2000 gold currency can be pretty useful early on for some unlocks.

PC users on Steam enjoyed a 20% discount on the base game in September, and I’m hoping another discount is planned soon as well. The current discount does not extend to Xbox platforms at the moment.

In my review, I called SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance a “fantastic action game with remarkable depth,” and that still holds true today. It’s a combo-driven, gorgeously rendered action-platformer with some metroidvania elements sprinkled in. I hope that we can see more of Shinobi from LizardCube in the future, whether in the form of an expansion or sequel.
