Nioh 3 Pre-Order Bonus and Deluxe Edition Detailed

Team Ninja has been releasing a game or two every year for a while now, and that is not stopping in 2026, as Nioh 3 finally has a release date for February next year. The highly anticipated sequel is mixing things up yet again, and I could not be happier.

It’s also not going to be a PlayStation exclusive for six months to a year and is instead launching day one on PC as well. Here is what you will get for pre-ordering Nioh 3, what comes in the deluxe edition, and whether it is worth it.

Nioh 3 Pre-Order Bonus

If you pre-order Nioh 3 on PC or PS5, you will receive the Hellfire Equipment Set and Scampuss Furball Netsuke.

The Hellfire Equipment Set includes the following:

• Hellfire Warrior Armor set
• Hellfire Ninja Attire set

Nioh 3 Early Purchase Bonus

In addition to the pre-order bonus, if you purchase Nioh 3 by February 19, 2026 (13 days after launch), you will also receive the Hellfrost Equipment Set, which includes an armor set for the Warrior and Ninja forms.

These bonuses are not that different from previous Team Ninja titles like Nioh 2 or Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and I think both sets look really nice. If you are already set on buying Nioh 3, and I know I am, then these bonus armor sets are pretty neat, especially since the game will have a transmog function that allows you to wear them regardless of your level.

Nioh 3 Digital Deluxe Edition

If you’re willing to spend a little extra, the Digital Deluxe Edition of Nioh 3 comes with the following content:

• Nioh 3 base game
• Nioh 3 Season Pass
• Nioh 3 Season pass bonus “Chijiko Netsuke Charm” (accessory)
• Infernal Weapons Set (14 types)
• Kodama Netsuke Charm (accessory)

Weapons and charms aside, I think the real appeal of this edition is the inclusion of the Season Pass, which includes both upcoming DLC expansions. These are slated for September 2026 and February 2027, respectively, and considering the quality of previous Nioh expansions, I do not doubt that these will be worth it as well.

Each Nioh game is packed with an incredible amount of content, and if you are a fan of the previous titles, I think the deluxe edition offers some real value. The weapons are nice too, but a bit too visually busy for my taste.

That said, the deluxe edition is a bit pricey, though, and costs $110 compared to the $70 base edition. You are not going to get something truly worth it at launch and are essentially waiting for the expansions to really see its value.

Nioh 3 Release Date

Nioh 3 is coming to PC and PS5 on February 6, 2026, and it’s being published by KOEI TECMO.

The Nioh series is still absent from Xbox, and it is likely due to previous contractual obligations. Still, it is great that Nioh 3 will not be a timed exclusive on the PS5, especially considering how popular these games are on PC
