Within the Steam folder, you’ll see another folder with your unique Steam user ID. Inside this, you will find the relevant save files, options, and progress in the (.save) format. To make life easier, just back up the entire SHINOBI_AOV folder in the Sega folder, where you can find the rest of your save files for other SEGA titles as well.

Yes, Shinobi Art of Vengeance has multiple save slots, and you can have three active slots at any given moment.

The save file tracks your total play time of the particular run, the overall completion rate, the amount of gold you currently have, and Oboro Relics found so far. You can’t rename these slots, and each is assigned a number.
