The Witness Puzzles – Home Area

Once you unlock the main gate, head out into the world for the first time!

The opening area of The Witness covers everything inside the starting area. Once you unlock the gate, you can finally head outside. This section of our walkthrough and guide covers everything from the first gate to the second gate at the top of the stairs in the Adobe-like area.

Location: Up the hill after the gate, then down the first path to the left.
Objective: Unlock the door.

Puzzle #10

Location: Inside the newly unlocked room.
Objective: Unlock the box to find the blueprint.

Location: Half-built wooden house.
Objective: N/A

Puzzle #12

Location: Open field new the half-built white house.
Objective: N/A

Puzzle #13

Location: Doorway into the orange house.
Objective: Unlock the door.

Puzzle #14

Location: Far left corner of the orange house.
Objective: Lower the wall and activate the first power cable.

Puzzle #15

Location: Follow the newly activated power cable.
Objective: Activate the second power cable.

Puzzle #16

Location: Follow the second power cable.
Objective: Activate the third power cable.

Puzzle #17

Location: Follow the third power cable.
Objective: Open the gate.
