Konami has plans Metal Gear Solid 4 Konami JPN head Motoyuki Yoshioka said, as the company produces its reports for the first half of fiscal year 2005.
“As for Metal Gear Solid 4, well again, we have some ideas, we’ve had some ideas for sometime now, so we’ll continue to create more titles in the series,” Yoshioka stated. He also told investors that the company was aiming to sell more copies of MGS3 than they did MGS2.
Fans will undoubtedly be pleased with the news as Konami had previously hinted that we might not see any more of Snake after a line in a trailer shown at Tokyo Game Show MGS3 signified the release as the “Final Episode of the Metal Gear Solid Trilogy”.
Other details are non-existent; we’ll probably have to wait for Hideo Kojima himself to announce anything else.
We’ll see the release of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater a lot sooner; come 16th December in fact.
Keep checking back as we’ll be reporting every last shred of information we can find on the subject.
