This highly-anticipated sequel will make its way to store shelves for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 7th in the U.S., and October 10th in Europe. The game expands into the beautiful world of Thedas, with players battling against a massive, mysterious breach in the sky that’s tearing the world apart. As the Inquisitor, it’s your job to lead a team of legendary heroes to see who’s behind the devastating force, and stop it before it’s too late.

“Our goal with Dragon Age: Inquisition is to usher in the next-generation of role playing games,” said Aaryn Flynn, general manager of BioWare Edmonton and Montreal. “Players will experience the rich storylines and characters that they’ve come to expect from BioWare, in an expansive world with large open environments just begging to be explored.”

For good measure, BioWare also released a gameplay trailer that shows what you can do in the game, from devastating strikes to powerful spells that can inflict damage on the greatest of enemies. You can view the trailer below.

We’ll have continued coverage on Inquisition in the months ahead. The Dragon Age will soon be upon us, once again!
