Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry Releasing Separately for PS4, PS3 and PC

Play this popular DLC even if you don't own Black Flag.

Fans and new players to the franchise will be happy to know that Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry, first released as DLC to Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, will be available as a stand-alone game. Ubisoft announced that as of February 18, the game will be available for download on the Sony PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 systems for $14.99. PC players will be able to access the game for the same price on February 25.

Tony Key, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing went on to say that, “We decided to release Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry as a stand-alone game for both fans and newcomers to the Assassin’s Creed universe.”
