Spectre Divide is a 3v3 first-person shooter from Mountaintop Studios that is currently out for closed beta participants. The free-to-play title runs quite well and isn’t demanding on PC, but it has its fair share of server issues at the moment until you’re actually in a round. If the tutorial for Spectre Divide isn’t loading for you, here are a few things you can try.
Fixing the Spectre Divide Tutorial Not Loading
Currently, the developers have made the tutorial optional so players can access casual matchmaking even without playing it. If you’re stuck in queue, just exit it out of it and select Casual instead.
They announced this in Discord:
Heads up, we're investigating issues with players not able to load into the Tutorial and Shooting Range. We're temporarily disabling the requirement to play the Tutorial and we'll turn the requirement back on once we've identified the issue. We appreciate your patience!
Restart Steam
However, to ensure this update is applied, you need to restart the Steam client. This will download any hotfix or patch the developers have released during this launch period.
Update Spectre Divide
Make sure that Spectre Divide is updated to the latest version by putting it on high priority in the Steam library. Here is how you can do this:
- Open Steam and navigate to your library
- Here, right-click on Spectre Divide and select Properties
- Select the Updates tab, and under Automatic Updates, check High Priority
Generic Troubleshooting
Apart from that, you can try the following generic troubleshooting suggestions.
- Try another different connection if you’re stuck in a queue, even during a casual match
- Restart your modem or router
- Reset your internet connection in Windows
- Unplug your ethernet cable, restart your PC, and replug the cable
