How to Opt-In the Closed Beta in Spectre Divide

There are two ways to get into Spectre Divide’s Closed Beta: Twitch Drops and Steam’s Beta Access feature.

How to Request Closed Beta Access on Steam for Spectre Divide

To participate in Spectre Divide’s Closed Beta through Steam, open Steam and head to the Steam Store page. Search “Spectre Divide” in the shop and go to Spectre Divide’s main page. Scroll down and look for the “Join the Spectre Divide Playtest” button. Click the “Request Access” button and your current Steam account is now eligible to get access if the developers are ready to accept more participants in their Closed Beta.

If you are selected, you will receive an email about the Closed Beta sent to the email address attached to your Steam account.

How to Get Spectre Divide Closed Beta Access Through Twitch Drops

To get access through Twitch Drops, you need to watch streamers playing Spectre Divide, which has Twitch Drops enabled. Most streamers have “!drops” on their title, claiming they are part of Spectre Divide’s partnerships. Some streamers might add “!drops” just to bait some viewers.

However, once you are watching a stream, you can go to your Twitch account by pressing on your profile on the upper screen and clicking on “Drops & Rewards.” Look through your inventory until you see Spectre Divide. You’ll see your progress here, and you’ll also claim the Spectre Divide Closed Beta reward on this page.

However, you need some prerequisites to be eligible for the rewards. You need to create a Spectre Divide account and link your Twitch and Spectre accounts together. Players also have a chance to receive three exclusive in-game items only available through Twitch Drops:

  • Bad Intentions Spray
  • Troublemaker Banner
  • Sinister Smile Charm

The Spectre Divide Twitch Drops event runs from August 13 to August 21.
