Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster was officially unveiled during the Capcom Next: Summer 2024 with an extended look at gameplay, comparisons to the original, and new features. This “remaster” is essentially built from the ground up for RE Engine, and the uplift is more in line with a remake. With its Steam page, we have our first look at a few technical details as well, including the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster system requirements.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster System Requirements
Minimum | Recommended | |
---|---|---|

DirectX 12 | Version 12 | Version 12 |
Storage | 50 GB available space | 50 GB available space |
This isn’t a very demanding title, and the requirements are very close to the recent Resident Evil 4: Remake. Players can expect to see similar performance, and CAPCOM has confirmed that if you’re looking to play at 4K with a 60 FPS target, you’ll need something like an RTX 3080 or an RX 6900 XT.
We’re assuming the “recommended” specifications target 1080p and 60 FPS instead, for which you’ll need a GTX 1070Ti paired with a Ryzen 5 3600. Apart from that, 16 GB of RAM is recommended; the game’s size hasn’t been revealed yet.

You can now pre-order the game on PC through Steam.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Release Date
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and the PS5 on September 19th, 2024.
This is clearly a lot of effort for a remaster, and the fact that CAPCOM can recreate such an older title in RE Engine is very impressive. We’re looking forward to documenting the zombie outbreak as Frank again in September!
