Sony’s Beyond: Two Souls puts players in control of two unique characters they’ll need to complete the game. That said, here’s a walkthrough for Chapter 3: The Embassy.
Where’s the Restroom?
For this chapter, we jump ahead to the future with a middle-aged Jodie working with a CIA agent named Ryan. Both are attending a diplomat party in a luxury estate. Have a chat with Ryan and go over their plans. When you take control of Jodie, Ryan mentions to find some place quite. Head inside the women’s bathroom in the back hallway on the left side.
Fun on the John
In the bathroom, enter the last stall to the far right. Sit on the toilet and open up Jodie’s purse to trigger a scene: it’s up to Aiden to retrieve some crucial documents from the ambassador’s room. Switch to Aiden and float to the second floor balcony above the chandelier.
Messing with Security
The first thing you’ll need to do is disable the security camera; head inside the security room labeled “Staff Only” (it’s the only door half-open). A guard is on watch sitting at the desk. Select the security monitor (hold L1) and tilt the Left/Right sticks back to pause its surveillance. Unfortunately, the guard notices the adjustment and he’ll turn it back on. You need to distract him. Knock over the coffee cup; it’ll spill and keep the guard busy. While he’s fiddling around, trigger the camera again from the monitor to pause the video.
Lovely Painting
The coast is clear to enter the ambassador’s room (as Aiden). The room is on the back of the balcony with two doors and flags. Once you’re inside, trigger the Sheik’s painting on the wall.
Jodie notes there must be a switch to open the painting. The switch is located on the middle drawer on the right side of the desk. Push the switch to open the painting and reveal a safe.
Now trigger the handprint lock with Aiden to open it. Then highlight the document inside and knock it over. Here, Jodie will automatically write down the data on a notebook – follow the series of button prompts to complete the written code.
Alternative Room Entry
If you haven’t noticed, Aid can possess one of the guards on the second floor. This route takes a little more work (and is less effective), but you may try so if you wish. Keep in mind this prevents you from getting a trophy using this sequence.
Take control of the guard on the second floor after you’ve fiddled with the security camera. Now, as the guard, enter the Ambassador’s room and open the desk drawers on the right side. You’ll find a switch – press it. This will reveal a safe behind the sheik’s painting.
Unfortunately, the guard cannot access the safe because his hand doesn’t match the ID entry. Exit the room as the guard and jump out of his body. Then return to the room as Aiden and use him to open the safe to access the document.
Leave the Party
You’ll watch a cutscene and a woman will take the documents from you. Afterward, exit the bathroom (you can wash your face if you’d like) and meet up with Ryan in the main hall again to complete the chapter.
