Those of you who are avid fans of the Cartoon Network series Regular Show – as well as its goofy cohorts Mordecai and Rigby – have some good news coming their way later this month.

D3Publisher announced today that the side-scrolling action game Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land, will release on Nintendo 3DS on October 29th.

The game tips its hat to the classic 8-bit games of old, featuring both Mordecai and Rigby in side-scrolling and overhead stages, battling enemies and collecting goodies. It also features the support of Regular Show series creator J.G. Quintel, who helped conceive the game’s concept and storyline.

We only hope that a bunch of renegade unicorns show up in there somewhere. “BROS! BROS! BROS!”
