Dark Souls II Beta Debuts on PS3 October 12th

Get ready to die yet again.

Death is a month away, as Namco Bandai will launch a closed Dark Souls II beta for select players in the U.S. and Europe starting October 12th. The beta was originally supposed to start on the 5th, but a small one-week delay will now bring it closer to the middle of the month.

The PS3 beta will allow players to get a first look at the game, while experiencing enemies that will pummel them into oblivion.

The sign-up for the beta hasn’t gone live in the U.S., but should open up on the PlayStation Network soon. Meanwhile, European system owners can go here to sign up.

Dark Souls II releases March 14th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
