Time Warner App Launches for Xbox 360

Watch up to 300 channels if you're a subscriber.

Microsoft announced that the new Time Warner Cable app debuted on the Xbox Live marketplace, allowing subscribers to view up to 300 channels across live cable TV feeds using their Xbox 360 consoles.

The app comes with full Kinect voice and gesture support, so you can flip or request through channels and find what you’re looking for. The 300 channels include the likes of AMC, Bravo, Cartoon Network, CNN, Comedy Central and Food Network, among others.

However, it should be noted that the app only works with live TV channels at this time – the video-on-demand service isn’t being offered yet. Microsoft is supposedly working with Time Warner to bring the service to the app soon, though.
