The company announced that it released a new picture eBook for the iPad titled Blik-0 1946. The story comes from the mind of Final Fantasy composer Nubuo Uematsu.

Blik-0 1946 is a story about a robot built with functions that recreate the human heart and brain, put together by artificial intelligence scientist Dr. Mabuse. He struggles with feelings over the course of the book, including sadness, heartache, anger and love.

Uematsu’s book also contains three original music tracks put together by the composer: “Blik-0 1946,” “Ah, But Why?” and “So Close.” Readers can play these songs however they please while reading the book.

The app goes for $9.99 and you can download it here.  Keep in mind it only works with the iPad, though an iPhone compatible version will be available soon.
