LittleBigPlanet- Eight Million Levels Created

The “create-your-own-platformer” reaches new milestone.

It’s good to be Sackboy. On the PlayStation Blog, Steven Isbell, community coordinator for the LittleBigPlanet series, happily announced that over eight million levels have been created for the game, which is just about to hit its fifth anniversary.  That’s a huge number, and it shows just how dedicated the community is when it comes to creating original content and sharing it with others.

“Everybody should give themselves a big pat on the back, because this wouldn’t be possible without you folks. We’re heading towards LittleBigPlanet’s 5th anniversary this year, and the community is still growing strong, which is definitely something that you should all be proud of!” said Isbell.

You can read more about the numbers – and check out some of the team’s favorite LittleBigPlanet levels – over on the official PlayStation Blog.  Congratulations to Media Molecule.

LittleBigPlanet is available for PlayStation 3.
