It’s been a wild ride with downloadable characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us, including the likes of alien biker Lobo, vigilante Batgirl and Mortal Kombat veteran Scorpion. However, the latest addition will shake up the picture even more, as the evil Kryptonian General Zod enters the picture.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Netherrealm Studios confirmed that Superman’s nemesis will join the fighting ranks on July 2nd. The powers that be also released a new gameplay video that shows exactly what he can do – including slamming someone through the moon.
Zod will cost $4.99 once he’s available, or you’ll get him free-of-charge if you already subscribe to the Season Pass. One thing’s for sure, he looks way different than the Zod we remember from Man of Steel, or for that matter, Superman II.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii U.
