Gears of War: Judgment Gets Free Map From Maximum Magazine

Take over the Dreadnought starting today.

The content continues to pour in for Epic Games’ Gears of War: Judgment.  Following the release of a new map sponsored by Maxim Magazine last month, today it was confirmed that Epic Games has teamed up with men’s publication Maximum to provide yet another free map for players.  That map is available starting today on Xbox Live.

The map is a new OverRun-based setting called “Dreadnought” and the official details are below…

“In the months immediately following Emergence Day, the COG managed to capture some Locust Berserkers. Thinking that a ship at sea would be safe from an underground enemy, the COG decided to transport their prize to a secure research facility via the CNV Pomeroy. Little did they know that the Locust had waterborne beasts from the underground rivers of the Hollow, or that the Locust soldiers would use them so relentlessly to rescue the captured Berserkers. The Pomeroy was corralled into a narrow channel and forced ashore, where the Locust sent a mass of troops to assault and overwhelm the beached vessel.”

Early screens show that this is quite the promising locale and the fact that it’s free of charge doesn’t hurt either.  But act quickly, because it’s probably just a limited time offer.

Gears of War: Judgment is available now on Xbox 360.
