Shooting more than peas now

Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 has gone live and the first conversion kit to make an appearance is the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit. If you want to turn the Longbow into a sniper rifle with some serious potential, I can outline exactly how to unlock it for your collection.

How to Get the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit in MW3

To unlock the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit, you need to complete at least five of the Weekly Challenges from Week 1 in Season 2. There are 21 Weekly Challenges in total that are split between the main modes for MW3: Multiplayer, Modern Warfare Zombies, and Warzone. You can choose to focus on one mode or split your time for the best results.

If you complete three challenges in Multiplayer and two in Warzone, that progress will still count toward your five Weekly Challenges in Week 1. The JAK Tyrant 762 Kit will then be marked as a complete Aftermarket Part and you can claim your reward. This is essentially how unlocking any of the Conversions Kits will work going forward, like the JAK Headhunter.

Anyone who is in Warzone without MW3 will have to rely on the seven Weekly Challenges given to the mode. They have been getting easier week after week, so there’s no need to worry about getting stuck. But you won’t have as many challenge options as the other Modern Warfare 3 players in the game.

How to Equip the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit in MW3

Once you have the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit unlocked from Weekly Challenges, you can equip it through the conversion kit slot on the Longbow sniper rifle. Any time you open the gunsmith for your weapon loadouts, there is a good chance that a weapon will have a conversion option at the bottom right section of the screen.

Another great conversion option is the JAK Beholder Rifle Kit if you want some more high-damage weapons.
