Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Getting Blade Wolf DLC In Japan Next Month

A U.S. release shouldn't be far behind.

Konami has been supporting its action-packed Metal Gear Rising Revengeance rather well since its release back in February.  The game has a second pack of downloadable content in the works and lucky Japanese gamers will get to see it first.

In this new DLC adventure players will get to control Blade Wolf, the heavily armed mechanical menace that Raiden first faces in the second stage of Revengeance.  You’ll be able to twist around your tail like a maniac and let enemies have it with razor-sharp claw swipes.  It’s kind of like Amaterasu from Okami with a vengeful streak and metallic skin.

The pack is currently set to release in Japan on May 9th.  Though no word’s been given on a U.S. release, but it shouldn’t be too far off.  Expect it to be around $10.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is available now (as is its awesome soundtrack) for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
