Where to Find Lock On Pistol in Fortnite Season 5, Chapter 1

Scream, aim and fire.

It looks like Aimbot is back on the menu now that the Lock On Pistol has been unvaulted in Fortnite. Where can you get your hands on this particular weapon, and has it received any buffs to make it better than ever before?

How to Get The Lock On Pistol in Fortnite

Much like many of the other weapons available in Fortnite, there is no particularly easy way to get your hands on the Lock On Pistol. You’ll need to either search Loot Chests, find this particular weapon scattered on the map, or eliminate an enemy that happens to have one to get your hands on it. Much like the Enforcer AR or the Flowberry Fizz, it’s all up to the RNG of the match to determine if you’ll be lucky enough to find one quickly.

Capturing the Floating Island near the endgame can also provide you with one, but due to the somewhat weaker nature of the weapon, it may not be as useful in the endgame. If you happen to find one of a higher rarity level, however, you can ensure that this particular weapon always stays useful. Since you need to charge the Lock On Pistol up before you can shoot it, it could prove to be a death sentence if you’re in a hectic firefight, but it could be invaluable to use when you’re facing off against someone trying to run away from you.

No matter your skill level, the Lock On Pistol can be a great weapon to have, especially in specific situations. While it is still popping up rather sparingly at the moment, it should start making its way into the Loot Pool more often as the Season continues pushing on. We’ll just need to wait and see what other weapons Epic Games decides to bring out of the Vault in the future and see what other surprises we may get during the remainder of the Season.

No matter if you’re getting Victory Royales or you need some help defeating Peter Griffin, be sure to check out our Fortnite section below to learn more about the game and find out what they’re doing to keep things feeling fresh in the new season.
