The company has announced that it will be releasing a new Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack for the reboot, and it will be available first on Xbox 360, hitting the XBL Marketplace on March 19th.  Priced at 400 Microsoft points ($5), the pack contains three new maps to take on, including the Scavenger Caverns, the Cliff Shantytown and the Burning Village.

“The Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack opens up more of the island’s fantastic geography to players,” states a description from the announcement.  “Each of the three maps are playable on all four multiplayer game modes and see the island’s indigenous Scavengers pitted against the crew members of the shipwrecked Endurance.”

There’s no word just yet on when the pack will arrive for the other versions of the game on PlayStation 3 and PC, but it’s probably not too far behind, considering the popularity of the game.  We’ll let you know when an official announcement is made.

Tomb Raider is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
