How to Beat Dine Moon in Lethal Company

Tonight... we DINE... in hell!

Dine Moon, along with Titan and Rend, poses one of the biggest challenges in Lethal Company. However, it’s not impervious to the toughest of crewmates who fearlessly jump in to reach their quota, so here’s how you can beat Dine Moon in Lethal Company.

How to Get into the Facility on Dine Moon in Lethal Company

If you’ve been to Rend, then you might be confused after landing, but no, it’s a different map. It’s snowing quite badly, creating problems with your audio-visual perception of the surroundings, but luckily, there are ways to get around this.

How to Reach the Main Facility Entrance on Dine Moon in Lethal Company

Reaching the Main Entrance is fairly easy. When you hop off the ship and turn to the left, you’ll see a lamp post. You should just follow these (and the rope between them, which I call the “light line”) until you reach the Facility building. There, you will be able to see lights on the wall of the building and the Main Entrance underneath them. An alternate route goes directly forward from the front of the ship (behind you when you exit the ship), but it takes a bit of practice to find after you hit the wall. But, once you do that, you won’t need the training wheels that are the lamp posts. Try it out in single player!

How to Reach Fire Exit Entrance on Dine Moon in Lethal Company

Reaching the Fire Exit is possible if you can afford an Extension Ladder. After leaving the ship, go left diagonally (45 degrees turn) and keep moving until you see a pit. Follow the edge of the pit to the left, and at the end of the pit, you will see a Fire Exit. Surely, this Fire Exit can be reached the same way you can glitch yourself up the hill in Skyrim, but I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time. The Extension Ladder is, therefore, very worth buying, as it may severely speed up your scrap haul.

How to Survive Dine Moon in Lethal Company

If you see “Eclipsed” next to Dine Moon in the Terminal, please skip it. It’s not worth the risk. There is a high chance that you won’t reach the door of the Facility alive. Bad visibility plus scary monsters’ equals “having a bad time.”

The Outside

The Outside has Eyeless Dogs in about half of your runs, Earth Leviathans in about one-third of your runs, and Forest Keepers in about 15% of your runs. This means that Dine has a slightly different distribution than Rend, but it still doesn’t make it any less difficult.

The Inside

The Inside (Facility) has a pretty interesting and seemingly more equal distribution of enemies’ spawn chance than some other moons, which is probably not very helpful, as the monsters you will face in the Mansion are pretty random. Also, Dine includes every possible monster that exists in Lethal Company:

  • Jester (~13%)
  • Bunker Spider (~13%)
  • Nutcracker (~12%)
  • Coil-Head (~11%)
  • Snare Flea (~11%)
  • Thumper (~10%)
  • Hoarding Bug (~10%)
  • Hygrodere (~8%)
  • Bracken (~5%)
  • Ghost Girl (~3.5%)
  • Spore Lizard (~3%)

Sadly enough, one of the creatures you can be on “friendly” terms with is the creature with the lowest chance of appearing.

Strategy for Dine Moon in Lethal Company

You need to be fast and effective in your scrap runs, and this is why many players use the Fire Exit strategy. If you tend to get lost within the mansion, use a spray can to leave marks. You need to finish everything before nightfall, so communication with the crewmate on the ship is essential (and yes, you need to have someone stay on the ship in case your team starts getting killed left, right, and center).
