Metal Gear Rising Revengeance To Get 30 Exclusive VR Missions On PlayStation 3

Another exclusive goodie to those Raiden fans that own a PS3.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, Platinum Games’ over the top “slice everything every which way” sequel, is just a couple of weeks away from release, and today we’ve learned that those who pre-order the game for PlayStation 3 will walk away with a lovely little bonus.  30, in fact.

Konami has announced that it will be offering extra VR missions for the PlayStation 3 version of the game, 30 in all.  These are scenarios that will test Raiden’s best capabilities, whether it’s running past bullets or using slo-mo to cut enemies into a bazillion pieces.  The regular VR missions will still be in both versions of the game, in case you’re getting the Xbox 360 one instead.

It’s looking like an exclusivity deal with Sony here in the States, because both versions of Rising in Europe will get the 30 VR missions with no muss and no fuss.  So, hey, there’s always importing, 360 owners.  That is, if it’s region free…

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance hits stores on February 19th.
