Warframe: How to Find Murmur Sarcophages

What a creepy chest.

Among all the new objectives added as part of Warframe’s Whispers in the Walls update is one that’s left a lot of people stumped. Here’s how to find Murmur Sarcophages in Warframe.

Where to Find Murmur Sarcophages in Warframe

Murmur Sarcophages can be found within the open desert sections of the Entrati Labs tileset, more often in bounties where you’re required to find a certain amount of Murmur Sarcophages. These crates look like small boxes with fingers wrapping around the box from two different sides. To open it, you want to hit the box with a weapon of any type. After a second or two, the box should open and give you its contents. If you’re having trouble identifying the Murmur Sarcophages, the image above can help.

If you’re looking to make finding them a little easier, you may want to pick up a loot detection mod of sorts. Good examples of these are the Loot Detector Aura mod, Thief’s Wit Warframe mod, or the Animal Instinct Companion mod. These will highlight all crates across the map, letting you find them in nooks and crannies much easier. When I was locating Murmur Sarcophages for this guide, I ended up finding one in behind a tall wall which was helped a ton by my Kavat having the Animal Instinct mod on.

What Do Murmur Sarcophages Give You?

If you find one while not needing to for a bounty, or simply just want to know what you’ll get from it, you seem to get anywhere between 1-3 Stela from each box. These can be used in a variety of recipes, including with making a few of Qorvex’s component blueprints. Needless to say, getting a few more won’t hurt.
