The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Bethesda’s highly successful RPG will be coming to the PS3, role-playing Sony fans will be pleased to hear.
Bethesda have announced the news, which had widely been rumored for a while now, also announcing a PSP Oblivion title
The PS3 version will apparently be coming to shelves in November in the US and Europe some time in March next year.
Ubisoft will be publishing the game across Europe and Bethesda are set to self-publish in the US.
Meanwhile, the PSP title will named The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion. It’s currently under development and should be released in the spring next year.
“We’re very excited to be able to bring a game like Oblivion out for launch for the PlayStation 3,” Bethesda Softworks president Vlatko Andonov said.
“Oblivion’s countless awards and commercial success to date make it clear that PlayStation 3 owners are in for a real treat this November.”
The PS3 release will apparently bring new content on release, including the Knights of the Nine, a brand new faction complete with new characters, locations armor and weapons.
The PSP title will take players to a brand new region, Bethesda have revealed.
