If you’re in the New York area – like some of our Prima staffers are – then you might want to take note of this, especially if you want yourself a Wii U this Christmas.
Nintendo has announced that it will be hosting a midnight launch event for the Wii U at its Nintendo World Store at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Though no guarantees are being made, there’s a safe bet you’ll be able to snag yourself a Wii U attending this event, along with launch games like New Super Mario Bros. U and Zombi U.
In addition, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils Aime will be in attendance to greet folks, and those who drop by will gain access to a free Mario t-shirt, one that’s in bright red and will benefit the Red Cross Foundation.
If you’re not doing anything next Saturday, stop by and pick yourself up a system. Maybe.
The Wii U launches November 18th.
