The company has also confirmed a leak (thanks mp1st) that suggested a season pass to DLC is to come.

The season pass will grab you four Black Ops 2 maps that Activision explains will be “coming to the Xbox Live network first”.

The pass will cost 4000 Microsoft Points or you could choose to pay1200 MSP for each individual map.

Note: “Season Pass and DLC Map Packs may not be available on all gaming platforms,” Activision warned. “Pricing and release dates may vary by platform.”

IGN found the above note referred to the Wii U and PC version when speaking to Activision’s Eric Hirshbeg. Elite is set to come to PS3 and the Xbox 360 on Black Ops 2’s launch date, though Activision is “evaluating options to bring Elite services to the PC and Wii U”, Hirshberg said.

“Our goal is to bring the Season Pass and DLC to the Wii U also,” he added, “but it’s a new system and we need a bit more time to work out the details with Nintendo.”

It’s also coming to the iPad, Hirshberg confirmed.

New features are on the way for Call of Duty’s Elite service. New stuff includes a player HQ for tracking stats, a Clan HQ area, a zombie stat-tracking area, Call of Duty: Elite TV plus social sharing and notification enhancements.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is unleashed on the world simultaneously on November 13th, though arrives on the Wii U a little later on November 18th here in North America.
