Ubisoft has announced details regarding the Season Pass that will be available for purchase once Assassin’s Creed III releases later this month.  The package will go for $30 and will provide a number of DLC packets, including multiplayer perks that will help you in your fight against others.

But perhaps more interestingly, the first piece of DLC was given some detail today – get ready for “The Tyranny of King Washington.”  This single player campaign, spread across three episodic downloads, tells an “alternate history of the events following the American Revolution,” where the president apparently goes a little power mad.

“History is our playground – and AC teams have always loved playing with historical facts and their consequences as a way to better understand a time period,” said Sebastien Puel, Executive Producer at Ubisoft. “While Assassin’s Creed III concentrates on history as it happens, we wanted to take some liberties with this DLC and tell you how things ‘could have happened.'”

Hey, Abraham Lincoln went vampire hunting, so why not?

Look for Assassin’s Creed III in stores on October 30th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, with a release on Wii U the following month.
