Warner Bros. Interactive Games didn’t hold anything back as they hit the Tokyo Game Show floor this week, and they proved it by making a huge announcement revolving around Injustice: Gods Among Us, the new game from Netherrealm Studios, the creators behind Mortal Kombat.
That announcement concerns the release date for the game, and while we don’t have a specific day, we do know that it’s coming in April 2013…which definitely isn’t too far off.
What’s more, to please its fan base, Warner Bros. also released a new trailer featuring the Dark Knight himself, Batman, as he lays the smack-down on heroes and villains alike with his wonderful toys. Other characters appear in the trailer as well, including Wonder Woman, The Flash and Nightwing, so it’s not entirely the Caped Crusader’s show.
Enjoy the trailer here, and get ready for more coverage of Injustice: Gods Among Us in the months ahead leading up to the game’s release. And don’t forget to check out our hands-on when you get a chance.
